Best purchase I’ve made in a long time! I drink a lot of hot tea and was tired of always waiting on my water to boil in my electric kettle. Now I have hot water on hand for my tea, instant oatmeal, and other items. Definitely worth every penny!

Pros: - NO DRIP. This is by far the most impressive/surprising part. After stopping the flow of water, you can touch the spout and there is practically no residual water on the spout, and absolutely not enough to ever drip. - Name brand. For those of you who didn't live in Japan, Zojirushi is a very tried and true brand that has been widely used in Japan for many years. I was amazed to find this brand at Canadian Tire. - Water-level is very easy to read - 'Unlock' button is a nice safety feature, which also doubles as a toggle to switch to a slower, gentler water stream. - It swivels ( if that's of any use to you ) - Mag-safe power cord. I would call this an unnecessary nice-to-have. - Very light weight. - Almost no steam - and that is only when you bring it to a boil. Otherwise you may not see any steam at all. Cons: - Timer function would be way more useful if it could also be on a schedule, so it could turn off overnight and turn on again in the morning. However, this can be overcome by plugging the machine into a timer-outlet, as it auto-boils upon powering back on. - Fahrenheit only. The temps are written in F right on the machine, so there's no possibility of changing to C. - The LEDs and buttons are very unintuitive. You'll want to read the manual and then you'll be fine, but you'll have to teach any guests what the lights/buttons do, beyond the basic functions.

I think this is the most incredible water boiler and heater, I got this on rewards points and I love it. My feedback on it is that it needs some illumination so it can be used in low light. The buttons could be backlit so I can see where the buttons are and which ones are which without turning on a bright kitchen light. Also a simple led pour light that goes on for a few seconds when the dispense button is pushed.
