What materials are used for hinges?

The most traditional materials used to make hinges are brass hinges, nickel-plated hinges, and zinc hinges. Some materials are stronger and more durable, while others offer better corrosion resistance.

What is the purpose of a hinge?

A hinge is designed to hold a fixed body and a moving body of material together. Whether it be for a window frame and a window, a door frame and a door, or other needs such as vehicles and enclosures.

What tools do I need to install a hinge?

To install a hinge, you will need a screwdriver or drill. But it is also recommended for you to have a measuring tape and marking chalk on hand to ensure accuracy.
