What is the gasket between the toilet tank and bowl?
It is typically referred to as a toilet tank to bowl gasket and is usually made of rubber. These gaskets rarely need replacing, but if the rubber dries out and cracks, it can create a leak.

When do I need to replace a toilet gasket?
If you notice water gathering at the base of the toilet, stains, or a bad small developing, these can all be signs of an ongoing leak that will require a gasket or seal to be replaced.

Are toilet gaskets universal?
Toilet seals are not all universal, as the sizes and designs of toilets can vary along with the seals used in them. Most replacement seal kits will indicate which brands and types of toilets they will fit properly.

What size toilet gasket do I need?
Check your owner's manual or measure the faulty gasket to find what size you'll need for a proper replacement.
