What are brake bleeders used for?

Brake bleeders are used to remove air bubbles or trapped air from a brake system. Air bubbles in the brake fluid can disrupt the hydraulic pressure used to transmit force from the brake pedal to the brake calipers, leading to reduced brake performance or even brake failure.

What is a brake bleeder kit?

A brake bleeder kit is designed to make the process of draining or changing your brake fluid easier. It typically includes a hand pump or vacuum pump and a variety of adapters to fit different types of brake fluid reservoirs. With the help of a brake bleeder kit, you can change your brake fluid at home without having to take your car to a repair shop.
