What are the types of automotive lifts and stands?

Jacks and jack stands are the main types of automotive lifts most people use outside of an auto repair shop.

Through a hydraulic system, jacks offer incredible power to lift up part of your vehicle. This allows you to perform a tire change or basic repairs and maintenance such as oil change or pad replacement. Jack Stands are made to support to support the weight of a raised car or truck. If you plan on doing work under your car, then you absolutely need a jack stand for your safety.
