What do I need to mount a shower?

You'll need essential plumbing tools such as a pipe wrench, plumber's tape, and depending on what fasteners you'll use, hex keys or a screwdriver.

How do you attach a shower head to the wall?

Typically, a shower head is attached to a shower arm or a directly to a water supply pipe. If you need pointers, the second half of our guide on how to replace a shower head will be useful to you.

How high do you mount a shower?

How high you mount the shower depends on personal preference and height, with the average being anywhere from 80 to 85 inches from the tub bottom or shower floor.
