What are handheld sand blasters used for?

Handheld sand blasters can be used for a variety of sanding tasks and are especially well suited to removing rust and paint from metal. They can also be used to clean wood surfaces for repainting and are great for cleaning fine details and awkward angles.

What will I need to use a sand blaster?

You'll need an air compressor to run the tool, abrasive blasting media, plus eye protection and gloves. We also recommend making sure you have an enclosure for air sanding to make clean up easy.

Where can I find abrasive blasting media for my handheld sand blaster?

You can find abrasive blasting media at Canadian Tire. We carry general purpose media that is great for repair and maintenance tasks.
