Can I patch my own tire?

Yes, you can patch your own tire depending on the size and location of the leak. At Canadian Tire, we have a range of tire repair tools from tire patches, heavy-duty tire repair kits and more to ensure that you’re equipped for any tire and wheel emergencies.

How much does it cost to patch a tire at Canadian tire?

The cost of patching your tire will depend on the damage. Visit your local Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre and schedule an appointment for all of your tire and wheel repair needs. If you have tires that have been purchased and installed at Canadian Tire, you are backed by our complementary Tire Care Guarantee, which covers road hazard damage such as nail punctures. How can I temporarily fix a flat tire?

First locate the source of the leak by inspecting it, then use a tire sealant to fix the flat tire. The most important thing to remember is that tire sealants are temporary fixes for emergency situations only. You can temporarily fix your flat tire but remember to take it to the auto shop for professional repair.
