What types of pipe bushings are there?
Copper bushings are usually unthreaded and are brazed or soldered into place. HEX bushings are typically made from brass or galvanized steel, these are threaded to match compatible pipes, and can be tightened with a wrench. ABS and PVC plastics are also common bushing types used to connect lengths of plastic pipe.
What size bushings do I need?
The size of pipe bushings you need depends on the diameter of pipe you're using it with. Pipe diameter is often measured by inner diameter or outer diameter, and common sizes can vary depending on the material. We carry a wide variety of bushings in common diameters and formats like NPT.
