Should I keep my generator covered when it's not in use?

Generators are expensive, heavy-duty pieces of machinery. Purchasing a generator cover that is designed to fit your model will prevent frequent generator maintenance and prolong the life of your generator. Whether you’re storing your generator in the shed or outdoors, a cover will protect your generator from dust, dirt, insects, and other environmental factors.
