What is a toilet tank ball?

A toilet tank ball is a rubber or plastic ball filled with air that connects to the fill valve, shutting it off when the water level in the tank gets to a certain height.

What are toilet flappers?

When you flush your toilet, the handle is connected by a chain to the toilet flapper, which rises and lets water pass out of the tank and into the bowl, then closes and seals the tank when the water has run out.

Are toilet tank flappers universal?

Some toilet tank flappers are designed for a universal fit, but some toilets are designed for specific flapper models, which will always be in the flapper part name.

What are the different types of toilet flappers?

All toilet flappers have a hinge, rubber body, and chain to connect them to the flush lever. Water saving flappers are designed to close more quickly and prevent all tank water from draining for short flushes.
