What are the Advantages of a Canister Vacuum?

Canister vacuum cleaners have a separate housing for the motor, which allows for more power. The separate vacuum wand and hose makes canister vacuums very maneuverable compared to uprights, and ideal for cleaning under and around furnishings and tight spaces.

Since canister vacuums are corded, battery life is never a concern. Bagless models allow you to empty the canister directly into the garbage, and bagged models offer convenient and tidy disposal. Attachments can allow for more reach and easier cleaning of fabrics and upholstery, carpets, drapes and hard-to-reach spots.

What Types of Surfaces Are Best for a Canister Vacuum?

Canister vacuums work well on carpets, rugs, hardwood, laminate, tile, engineered wood, concrete, and any other dry surface you need to clean.
