    Unfortunately, I returned this product after confirming what some of the other reviewers said - they don't make them like they used to. For me, this heating pad did not heat up enough. I have two older heating pads, but was in the middle of a move and didn't have access. Even though many reviewers noted the lack of heat, I was desperate and, sadly, they were right. I returned it the next day. When I need a heating pad, I want some good, hot heat and this didn't offer that. I still gave it 3 stars because, technically, there's nothing wrong with the product and it does provide sufficient heat for some people. The cover is soft and lovely, it has auto shut-off, the cord is long and if you like a low, gentle heat you won't be disappointed.

    It doesn't get as hot as my old heating pad, but it does okay. The controller and cord connection are bulky but are at least easy to hold. I wish it had a removable cover instead of having to wash the whole pad.

    Q: What does an F on the controller mean?

    A: Thank you for reaching out to Sunbeam®. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your inquiry and we will be glad to help. F on the controller means Fault Found. There are several causes of this issue: 1. Product is plugged into an extension cord/surge protector and not plugged into a direct wall outlet. 2. Product wasn't plugged in properly. 3. The AC outlet is not functional. To fix this problem, do the following to reset your heating pad: - Check if there is no physical damage on its cord, controller, or pad. - Turn the heating pad control to the Off position and unplug the power cord from the electrical connection. Let it rest for 2 minutes. - Check the product plug connection that directly plugs into the product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete. - Hold the power button down and re-insert the power cord back into a wall outlet at the same time. Your Sunbeam® Heating Pad has a 5-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, please contact us directly so we can determine the best resolution. Have a good day!
