The heating pad was returned. After only 2 or 3 days the plastic shell wrapped itself around the heating elements inside and formed a roll. It had to be pulled apart several times.

It is definitely not hot enough. You cannot sit nor lean against the pad, and that for me makes it almost useless. However, I knew this before I purchased it, as having Googled all other heating pads, i found they have the same instructions…no leaning or sitting on. I had no other choice so I bought this one and rarely use it.

Control Blinking, No Heat or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source.
To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order:
1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds
2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad
3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight
4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters.
5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional.
6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet.

We suggest you to try the troubleshooting steps below: 1. Follow the instructions on the flag tag attached to the control cord to reset control. 2. Check the heating pad for visual damage. 3. If no visual damage is found, unplug the system from wall outlet. 4. Check that the control is well-connected to the module. 5. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. 6. Set the control to “On”. 7. If the system does not operate after 2 or 3 times trying to reset, disconnect the power cord. Your heating pad has a 5 year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

A: Good question! Yes, this Sunbeam® Moist & Dry Heating Pad is designed with a 2-hour auto shut-off. If you need to use it continuously, simply turn the unit back on after 2 hours. Please keep in mind that heating pads should not be used while asleep.

A: Thank you for asking! All of our products that are sold in the United States and Canada are manufactured and UL approved for 110-120 voltage. We do not recommend using them in different countries due to the difference in voltage. Additionally, doing so will void your warranty. Thank you very much.
