Not even as warm as a shirt from the dryer

DO NOT BUY THIS. CANADIAN TIRE WILL NOT REFUND (EXCHANGE ONLY) Sunbeam changed these so they don't get hot. I took the first one back because the highest setting wasn't even as warm as a shirt from the dryer. Exchange only. The 2nd one was just as bad. More like 'room temperaturing pad'. This product is literally useless.

Was awesome until it suddenly stopped working

I loved this heating pad. I purchased it about 5 months ago, it was working great. Out of the blue for no reason, it completely stopped working and I am not happy about it. It’s not a cheap item, but it (was) well worth it. Now no heat is emitting whatsoever. It didn’t get wet and has been meticulously maintained. I’m very disappointed.

Control Blinking, No Heat, or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source. To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order: 1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds. 2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad. 3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight. 4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use an extension cord. Do not use generators, power converters, or inverters. 5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional. 6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet. Your Sunbeam® AdvancedHeat Standard-Sized Heating Pad has a 3-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd kindly request that you fill out a Warranty Claim on our website so we can determine the best resolution. Q: Is it possible to switch off the "automatic shut off" feature ? In other words, is it possible to use this pad continuously, without it shutting off after 2 hours of operation ?
