    Fun!

    Works well for practice. Bit flimsy as need to be careful putting it together and operating it. But lots fun with kids trying to catch whiffle balls and tennis balls..

    Gear broken inside

    I went to use for the first time today, would turn on but arm not moving. After inspection, small plastic gear inside broken without any using. Help would be appreciated.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had great hopes for the Sklz Catapult. I thought it would be awesome for my nine year son to use for extra practice when he's at home just playing in the backyard. It was easy to assemble, but one of my first thoughts is that the ball holder was flimsy and would be easy to break. It was definitely disappointing when we actually turned it on. The baseball only went about 10 feet. When I tried to adjust it to throw harder, I turned it the wrong way and the knob on the adjuster came unscrewed and it came apart. My husband is having to take it apart and fix it. Nowhere in the instructions was there any warning that if you unscrewed it too far that it would come completely apart. I think it might be good for a younger kid that is just starting out, but for one that has been playing for several years, it would be way too easy. Not something that I would recommend to anyone over the age of maybe 5 years old.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a little bit slow but it is the best one yet that we have found. We use these for days that I don’t have time to practice outside with my son due to work or other activities. That way he still able to get the field practice in that’s required, even if I’m not standing right there, able to help him.
