I've stored frozen chicken, ground beef, and even chicken stock in these. I have yet to have a tear or any issues with these bags, and the seal is airtight. The plastic is thick enough that I never worry about punctures when storing anything. You will have to try to push the air out to prevent any freezer burn, but once you do that they're reliable bags.
