I drive a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I rely on my motor to take me places using this oil for a while. My engine stays at its peak performance, which is something I can rely on to get me and my family around may cost a bit, but then you pay for what you get and I’d rather put the best I can get. everybody has an opinion, ROYAL PURPLE::::::definitely works for me.!!!

Q: Got a Suzuki GW 250cc 4-stroke motorcycle, one of the recommended oils is 15w 40 synthetic SAE, this one should be fine right?

    3 Answers

A: If your bike has a wet clutch (nearly all Japanese bikes do) they you should not use oil that does not meet the MA /MA2 spec. The friction modifiers in automotive oil will damage your clutch. I use Rotella T6 - it's less expensive and it meets the MA2 spec. Yeah, I know it is specified for diesel engines but it works in motorcycles with wet clutches too. Consult your owner's manual if you are not sure of the oil specifications required.

Q: Is this Syn 10W 30 ok to use in Motorcycles ?

    3 Answers

A: NO!! First of all, there's no bike that I know that runs on 10w30 oil. Second, this oil ain't JASO MA or whatever wet cluctch oil standard your bike needs. There're all sort of anti-friction additives in this oil that would harm a wet clutch. JUST DON'T!

A: Yes. According to their website, RP recommends their HPS line of engine oil for use in any Diesel application, excluding 5w-20.

Q: Would this oil be a good choice for small engines? a small 4700 watt or 7500 watt gen for example.

    2 Answers

A: Yes, I use it in my generators 3300/4000 watt regularly, almost exclusively. Never had an engine issue yet. Just change it every 50-100 hours, whatever your manual recommends. Any synthetic 5w30 should work for a generator, but might as well put the good stuff in to make it last the longest.

Q: Can we put 5w30 synthetic in a 2010 ford escort thar was using 5 w 30 regular oils

    2 Answers

A: Yes, there is no issue in switching from a mineral/conventional engine oil to a high-quality synthetic engine oil, like Royal Purple. We recommend using the same viscosity grade that is specified in the owners manual and/or on the oil fill cap on the engine.

Q: Can I mix royal purple with 50/50 CTC nugold oil to lessen oil change cost?

    2 Answers

A: You can mix pretty much any modern oil with any other modern oil. Doing so will reduce the performance of the RP product though, and would not give you the same operational results that running straight RP will. The savings will come in extended oil change intervals and reduced frictional losses as compared to other oils.
