    I am happy with this cake pan. But I was looking for an 8 1/2 inch or 8 inch because I needed this size for a particular recipe. I thought, perhaps, it isn't going to make a difference but it did somewhat. It wasn't a huge deal.

    Q: Is this safe to use in an Instant Pot?

    A: If you are using the Paderno aluminum cake pan as an inner container, make sure the pan is at least half submersed in liquid/water. Using the pan this way, like a steamer, won't harm the metal but it will become discoloured as minerals in the liquid react with the aluminum.
