I bought this product for my daughter's room, so far we are very pleased with it. My daughter commented how her room consequently smells like a hotel (in a good way). I do think the air quality has at least slightly improved due to our use of the air purifier at night.

I'm very happy with this purifier! It's easy to set up to WiFi to work with my Google Home, but it's also easy to use without WiFi and without the app. You're not able to switch to "Night Mode" without the app though (this just turns the lights off, but they're not that obnoxious to begin with). Three intensity settings, I usually keep it on Auto which typically keeps it at the lowest setting which is very quiet and not annoying.. I'm easily annoyed by sounds, and this doesn't bother me.

Purificateur Noma grand

Fonction très bien mais un peu bruyant lorsqu'il n'est pas à basse vitesse. Un fois le wifi configuré ça fonctionne bien, mais Il y a un bug dans l'application Noma IQ. La documentation dit que le purificateur supporte seulement le 2.4G, ce qui est le cas. Mais, même si mon wifi supporte 2.4G et 5G avec des SSID différents; si votre cell est connecté sur le 5G (wifi), ce sera ce réseau qui sera proposé pour le connection avec le purificateur. Et il est impossible de changer le SSID pour mettre celui du 2.4G. Il a fallu que je connecte mon cell sur le 2.4G pour être capable de continuer la configuration du purificateur. Une fois complété, j'ai pu remettre mon cell sur le 5G, et tout fonctionne normalement.

Q: I own this particular air filter. The manual says it has a 2 year warranty. 14 mths it quit working. Canadian Tire will only honor a 1 yr warranty and there is no where to get it fixed. It doesn't even turn on. I'll never by another Noma product.

A: This isn't a question, but I agree. These purifiers are absolutely horrific, terrible quality. I returned both of mine for making a high pitch squealing and rhythmic rumbling while running at low speed. Whisper-Quiet is not in Noma's vocabulary. The medium purifiers are better, but for the cost of the filters and the units, they aren't worth it when they can't even filter smells like better purifiers can and do at similar price points.

Q: Does this help with the smell of cigarettes? My neighbor smokes and we smell it in our place

A: No, it does not help with smell. Though true HEPA air filters (which this is equipped with) reduce smoke, it removes the particles but not the smell. If you need something to reduce odour, especially cigarette or other smoke odour you should look at something that has a prefilter with activated charcoal and/or enhanced odour/VOC filters. As someone who struggles with both scents, smoke, and allergens etc I vastly prefer the Honeywell purifiers that are available at CT as well.

A: This is taken off AHAM’s website: “AHAM’s standard for measuring an air cleaner’s efficacy is called the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). CADR indicates the volume of filtered air an air cleaner delivers, with separate scores for tobacco smoke, pollen and dust. The higher the CADR number for each pollutant, the faster the unit filters the air. Always look for the AHAM Verifide® mark when shopping for air cleaners, which is usually found on the side or back of an air cleaner’s packaging.” Our purifiers have been tested by AHAM to ensure the CADR measurements are as advertised. If a purifier is not AHAM verified, they could potentially make up any CADR number to advertise purifier efficacy.
