It's doing the job so basement feels comfortably dry . But it's only been a few weeks since we bought it and turned it on. The "new" Dehumidfiers are prone to premature failure . You will see such comments across all brands. My last NOMA unit only lasted 2 seasons .... another unit brand For Living failed within one season. So let's see how this one fares over the long run . I'll come back later to let you know how it's working out.

Our garage is always very damp which leads to mildew growing on items stored in there. I set this unit up with a hose to drain into the sump pump area. It has done wonders for keeping the dampness out. It has only been two months since setting it up but otherwise I'm very happy with the results.

Q: Why does the dehumidifier leaking water from underneath ?

A: Dans la partie inférieure de l'appareil, en fait dans sa partie la plus basse, il y a une petite pane qui sert de réservoir d'eau. En regardant derrière l'appareil vous verrez un bouchon noir qui sert à drainer l'eau qui s'y accumule. Toutefois, l'espace est très restreint. Alors, placez votre déshumidificateur sur une serviette qui servira pour absorber l'eau. Nettoyer aussi le petit filtre en plastic escamotable au moins une fois par mois pour que votre appareil demeure efficace.
