Q: I have a 1500 upon further exploration i was to discover that it is not a true 1500 but rather 2 plugs at 750watts each when needing a minimum of 1000 per plug this is a disappointment is the 2000 a true 2000 or split into 2 plugs at 1000 each

A: The output is stated at 16.6 amps or 2000 watts. There are two 120 volt outlets but it is not stated whether they are separated or parallel. I expect since it is only 16+ amps that they are parallel.
