500ml do not fit and jars will fall over.

Horrible. 500ml jars? It is too shallow, the water does not cover them enough. The rack is absolutely infuriating- the wires overlap each other so there is not a flat place for the jars to rest on. It is not that complicated to make a pot that works. In the end I had jars toppled over and water ALL over and into my counter. Such a horrible product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: can this pot be used on a glass top stove?

A: Yes it can, though go there is an advisory card telling you about the limitations with some stoves. Just be mindful of temperature. Don't cook hot with it. Once it boils, lower the heat to medium high. And never let it boil dry!

A: It is not wavy, but is raised in the middle about a quarter inch. And the centre rise is round this is done to make sure the jars lean to the walls of the canner.

A: Yes of course it can go in the oven. It is all steel. Do not heat the oven above 400°
