Open Patella fitting

I use open patella pull-up knee support for several years now. My recent purchase is not as good as the old ones I have. Fitting around the hole is not good, not hugging around the knee.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Helps with my Active Recovery

A few weeks prior to purchasing this knee sleeve, I began to have issues with discomfort in my left knee. Based on my symptoms and when they occurred, I suspect I have Runners/Jumpers knee. I'm training for a half marathon in February and a full marathon in May, so I didn't want to break from my routine unless absolutely necessary. I was worried that I'd have to pause running to allow my knee to recover. I decided to try the McDavid Knee Sleeve. Since the time of this review, I've done a 5 km temp run, 8 km training run, and a 15 km long run while wearing this sleeve. Its taken my discomfort from mild/moderate down to no discomfort/mild discomfort. So, its allowing me to 'actively' recover from my Runners Knee while staying with my training routine. The sleeve stays on comfortably and does not slip down while running. I initially thought I would wear a size medium but after trying it out in the store, I went with the large. This was a good choice (I am 5'8' with a medium build). I can also wear running tights on cold days with the sleeve over the tights and the fit is still good. So overall, I'm pleased with this sleeve especially for how inexpensive it is. I think its worthwhile for you to give it a shot if you are experiencing any knee discomfort.
