Very Easy to assemble. Sturdy!

I purchased 5 of these racks. They are very easy to put together and are sturdy. The only complaint would be that they are not pristine (there are plastic pieces not shaved on the legs and the racks which make it a little unsightly). If you are using them where they will be seen, you will need to go and remove the overpoured plastic pieces. They seem very sturdy (I have not filled them yet as I am waiting for my basement to be finished). I love that they do come with 2 brackets to secure them to the wall so make them more stable. They are very large and will hold a lot of items. The weight capacity is a seller too as each shelf will support 150 lbs. I purchased these for my cold room and like that they are a plastic resin so I need not worry about rust or mold. I was concerned when reading other reviews about the quality (several stating they received broken pieces) but all 5 shelves and the oieces to put it together were in great condition.

Q: What are the shelves made of? We have these shelves inside our home, and we have a newborn in our home. There is an odour coming from the room these shelves are in and we wonder if it's the shelves themselves that smell.

A: I have the same issue and i called Blue Planet (Gracious Living) and what they told me is try to wash it (i did), try use febreze (I did) or give it time. This is awful they smell like used oil. I bought 2 and the smell in that room is unbearable. I have to close the door and open the window all the time. I wish that someone would give a solution or acknowledge the problem.

A: Height between shelves is 15 inches. Shelves can't be adjusted and you can't leave one out to increase the height.
