Descaling Problem

When reservoir was empty of descaling solution coffee maker let out bunch of steam. I shut machine down let cool for 30 minutes then machine would not power on. Talked to Keurig via chat line and person stated he would get support to call me but never happened..

A: Please see below for a step by step! It can also be found on Keurig.ca http://www.keurig.com/descale-instructions 1. Prepare Brewer - Empty the water from the Water Reservoir. If there is a Keurig® Water Filter, remove and set aside. - Disable "Auto Off" features per the Owner's Manual for your brewer, if necessary. - Turn brewer off. 2. First Descaling Rinse - Pour the entire bottle of Keurig® Descaling Solution into the Water Reservoir. Then fill the empty bottle with water and pour into the Water Reservoir. Press the Power button to turn the brewer back on. - Place the large mug on the Drip Tray and run a cleansing brew by lifting and lowering the Handle, selecting a 10 oz brew size and pressing the BREW button. Do not use a Keurig® beverage pod. Pour the brewed contents of the mug into the sink. 3. Second Descaling Rinse - Repeat the cleansing brew process until the Touch Display indicates "More Water Please." Let brewer stand for at least 30 minutes while still on. (Not necessary for Rivo® system.) - After 30 minutes, discard any residual solution and rinse the Water Reservoir thoroughly. 4. Fresh Water Rinse - Ensure the Water Reservoir is filled with fresh water to and not beyond the max fill line. - Place a large mug on the Drip Tray Plate and run a cleansing brew using the largest brew size. For Keurig® 2.0/Plus Series brewers, brew 6 ounces of hot water. Do not use a Keurig® beverage pod. Pour the contents of the mug into the sink. - Repeat the cleansing process at least 12 times. You may need to refill the Water Reservoir at least one time during this process.

A: Once, it is one bottle each time you descale the unit. You will need to descale at least every three to six months to preserve the quality of your coffee and to prolong the lifespan of your brewer.

A: Avant de commencer, vous aurez besoin d'une grande tasse en céramique, l'eau douce, la solution de détartrage et l'accès à un évier. Ne pas utiliser une tasse de papier. ÉTAPE 1: - Allumez votre brasseur. - Verser un tiers (4,6 oz) de l'Keurig ™ Solution de détartrage dans le réservoir d'eau froide, puis ajouter de l'eau fraîche pour les 10 oz le niveau de remplissage. - Placez une grande tasse en céramique sur le plateau à. Ne pas utiliser une tasse de papier. - Soulevez la poignée, mais ne pas ajouter un pack K-Cup®. Après 5 secondes, poignée inférieure et appuyez sur le bouton de BREW. ÉTAPE 2: - Répétez les processus ci-dessus jusqu'à ce que vous appuyez sur le bouton de BREW. - Lorsque le bouton BREW passe au rouge fixe, éteignez car il commence à passer. - Laissez brasseur reposer pendant au moins 30 minutes. - Allumez le brasseur, ascenseur et poignée inférieure, puis appuyez sur le bouton de BREW. - Jeter le contenu chaud dans l'évier. ÉTAPE 3: rinçage à l'eau frais - Répétez l'étape 1 (3 fois) - en utilisant 10 onces de l'eau douce à chaque fois. - Vous pouvez être amené à effectuer des cycles d'eau douce rinçage supplémentaire si vous décelez un goût résiduel.
