For the price it’s a great looking box. It’s not the strongest so as long as your not putting anything too heavy on top your good. Fits all my throw pillows and some gardening things. Just what I needed!

A: The box says that it will support 440 lbs. In my personal experience, a 300 lb person sat on it with no problem. Perhaps since the rollover from the "foldable" deck box to this one, the specifications have changed.

Q: Which deck box is better.....The Keter Wood Look box or The Keter Samoa???? I need to buy two of them. The price point is similar but the Wood Look box is on clearance.

Q: i have cushions for my patio set that i need to store. Unfolded they are 45 inches in length and 21 inches width Folded they are 25 inches in length and 21 inches in width Would all 6 of my cushions fit in this deck box?

Q: The details on this product says “seat” holds up to 440lbs but inside the box it shows a picture to not sit on it? So is it a seat or not? And why would it hold 440lbs but not someone sitting on it?

A: Hello, This box is not for sitting but can holds up to 440lbs on the lid There are different criteria for loading and sitting tests. This product has not passed a sitting test, but the lid can hold up to 440 lbs.

Q: So how to keep the lid on? The hinges pop apart almost every time I open it. A lock does nothing when all you have to do is lift the back of the lid off. If this came with an attachment to limit and hold the lid open just past vertical it might help.

A: Keter-NA - I don't believe there are any missing parts. I commented you should include some type of limiting chain, etc to hold the lid from going over past vertical, as the design of the hinges that snap together and by their design will pop off. It actually doesn't have to go vertical to pop off, just twist it a bit opening and it will happen as well. The hinge pins on the lid are not strong enough to remain attached. What replacement parts can you possibly provide that will substantially improve the lid securement and to limit the range of the lid?

A: comes in a flat package. Have to assemble each panel together using force. no tools required. the top is difficult to push together and the hinges are easy to break.

Q: Is this keter deck box water and rodent proof? My seat cushions from last year were used as a mouse house over the winter. I had to discard them due to damage and unsanitary condition. Thank You

A: I wouldn't trust it during a rain storm and if rats want something inside that plastic won't stop them. If you want something waterproof and ratproof you would be betteroff with a higher-end product.
