It's a decent enough blender. Sometimes it doesn't have enough power to blend the frozen stuff (i.e., needs a lot of liquid or shaking up). It also begins to give off a strange smell after 30-ish seconds (the instructions say to not let it run for more than two minutes, which I would be afraid to do if it's starting to smell after 30 seconds...).
It could use some improvements, but overall works well for what I need.

Gasket comes out repeatedly, liquid will run out.

I continually have problems with the silicon gasket on the blade portion of this Heritage Blender. Today it came off while I was using it. Gasket came out as I stopped mixing to add water. When I put the blade portion back on the gasket went into the mixing cup. I did not notice so as I used it smoothie was splashed on the counter. I found the gasket wrapped under the blades. Most times I use it the gasket comes off while I clean It. I don't take it off it just comes off. Very hard to put back in. I think they did not test this properly it is obvious and should not be like it is.

A: Hello, you need to make sure the recipient is well placed on the base - you should hear a "click" when correctly into place. This might be why the unit won't blend, it's a safety feature making sure all pieces are well placed on the base before the blades turn. Q: Just bought & the blade bases won’t click into base therefore won’t run. There is a small white piece that prevents this. It retracts when pushed down but won’t retract when trying to twist blade base.
