Amazing results when used as directed

I read the reviews and was worried about burning the lawn. The product was on clearance so I took a chance and bought a couple of bags. I finally got a chance to put the product down on my lawn 10 days ago and was VERY pleased with the outcome. The grass grew quickly and became more full and a darker green. The high potassium level will hopefully help the lawn avoid heat stress over the summer. The high nitrogen level meant I needed to use less of the product to get the same amount of nitrogen down as similar fertilizers on the market. This goes for all fertilizers, but it’s important that the user measures the area the fertilizer is going down on, and uses the rate on the bag to know how much product to put down on the lawn. Also, it’s important to use a spreader (rotary or hand spreader) to put the product down on the lawn. At 34% nitrogen, over application will burn the lawn. This is also a Canadian product so it’s good to support Canadian at this time.

A: I see no reason why not, however, what I would do is buy the seed, mulch & fertilizer together & use that to seed or re-seed your lawn.

Q: Instructions on the the nitroGrow 30-0-12 bag indicates it should only be applied once per season however in the video titled "How to Choose Golfgreen Lawn Fertilizer" it implies it should be applied every 4 to 6 weeks. Please clear up the confusion.

A: The instructions state “starting in early spring, apply Golfgreen NitroGrow …”. The next line states “Apply at the recommended rate as part of a complete fertilization program” The above two instructions should both be followed. The fertilizer should be apply in early spring and then again every 4 to 6 weeks throughout the season until fall. In the fall Golfgreen fall fertilizer should be used in late September or early October.

A: All Golfgreen Grass Seed products are considered 'Apply & Play' products. This simply means that it's best to keep other people, children and pets off of the area while you are applying it to a dry lawn. Be sure to achieve the recommended coverage, and always apply it with a spreader. Once applied it will be completely safe for all to return to the area. That being said, it is recommended to keep traffic on any new grass/seedlings to a minimum to allow them a chance to germinate and maximize your results.
