I purchased this cover when I noticed that my old mattress protector had had its day. Cover is actually a little big for the twin mattresses in my spare bedroom, but they will do the job. The covers are a little more plasticly than I thought they would be. I don't think the mattresses will breathe well and might be a little hot, but they won't get ruined from some of the guests sleeping on them.

Not cotton but polyurethane mattress cover with zipper. Ripped at zipper as I tried to slide it onto twin mattress. Will need to tape. Bought to protect keep mattress clean. Does the job but for price should be sturdier material.

A: Vinyl by its very nature has limited breathability. However we would recommend the innoform bed bug waterproof woven mattress cover (also available at Canadian tire) if the customer is looking for a fully breathable cover.
