3M pretty much has a monopoly if you want to buy high quality air filters. I'd like at least MERV 11, but Noma doesn't make them in this size -- only MERV 8. So, you have to pay for Filtrete. I wait 'til they're on sale, but the price on this two-pack made it hard to resist, even though I don't need them right now. I'm set for awhile.
