This was my second one and it is just perfect for cooking for two of us and I think we wore it out so I just purchased the Griddler with smoke-less mode. We will have the older one as a second griddler when needed for larger meals/family.

I bought this griddle about a month ago. At first, I really liked it, but the more I use it, the more problems I notice. The heat seems to be slowing down, and there’s not enough space for the grease—it ends up all over my counter on both sides. Eggs stick, bacon sticks, and when I make grilled cheese, it just flattens like a pancake and stays soggy instead of crispy. Very disappointing for the price.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Heat is not consistent in top and bottom plates. Bought the waffle plates too, but have to flip waffles half way through to brown both sides. Very disappointing.

Q: the top plate does not get as hot as bottom, is this normal? the top plate will heat up but not even close to the bottom e.g. waffles cooked on bottom raw on top. You have to flip the waffle to cook it... is it supposed to be this way? thank you neil

A: This may be a silly question but are you closing the lid? The top needs to close to cook (you can only make 4 waffles at a time). Otherwise, I have found when opened in griddle mode the top plate will not get as hot as the bottom plate but it hasn't made a big difference.

A: Oui très certainement, et c'est la principale raison de mon achat. Je cherchais un gaufrier à multiples usages afin de restreindre le nonbre d'appareil. À l'achat des plaques tu recevras un livre de recettes. Tu peux faire 4 gauffres à la fois, de 2 cm d'épaisseur. À un moment donné, j'ai oublié de mettre un corps gras et à ma grande surprise ça n'a pas collé. Les plaques se nettoient facilement et se rangent dans peu d'espace. C.est un excellent achat.
