Bought for 93yr old step mom. Was afraid to use her toaster oven as it looked too small and had too many instructions on the knobs that were confusing. Hi Johnny, I’m sorry your tray stained after the first use—I understand how disappointing that can be with a new appliance. Some staining can happen when cooking greasy foods, but it won’t affect performance. For best results, use the Baking Pan/Drip Tray with the AirFryer Basket in the upper rack position. For tough stains, soak first, then gently scrub with mild soap and a soft pad—regular cleaning after each use will help keep it looking its best.
