Canadian tire is one of the worst retailers I’ve shopped at. For the first time in nearly 50 years, I asked for a refund on a product. The sales clerk who sold me this generator completely misrepresented the difficulty of using it, as well as claiming it would not be that loud. The generator was difficult to use and extremely loud to the point where I couldn’t use it. I took it back to Canadian tire and asked that they either refund my purchase or give me a credit as I have been such a long time customer of Canadian tire. They explained that they would do neither. I even called her office after the store refused to refund or offer a store credit I was shocked. After nearly 50 years of being loyal customer to Canadian tire, sadly, I will never walk into any of their stores again.

Awesome product for the price

Purchased in march during an ice storm we upgraded from a smaller champion unit that was great and we had for many years. Upgraded to this one because we needed to run more and larger stuff. The co protection works good have had no issues. Used a few times since the storm for power outages and starts every time. This is now our second champion generator.

Sensitive Unit

Very Noisy.. needs a muffler? And very sensitive to carbon monoxide shut off ( which is a good thing ) but was challenging to find a well ventilated location that still protected the unit from wet weather.

Q: Can I safely run a desktop computer and 2 TV`s on this generator without blowing them up. Also, would a submersible deep well pump, 3 freezers, 1 fridge, run on this at the same time?

A: I'm not too sure about that specific list of items, but we have one of these for our cottage and it worked perfectly when our power went out. We had a full-size fridge, water pump + UV water filter, coffee machine and phone charger in the whole time and it was fine. In fact, I recall reading that we were also able to hook up a stove and still have enough juice, but we couldn't because we didn't have a 240 cable.
