This was my first time installing a garage door opener.
My level of knowledge is average so you know.
Overall it took me 6 hours to install, adjust, program and test this product.
Everything is straight forward and fairly easy to understand if you dont rush.
Everything worked the first time i tried it and programming is a breeze.
Quiet but slower than my previous garage door opener, but not by much.
I used it with a 8 high by 10 wide sectional garage door. I had to purchase an extension kit for it to work (about 145$ more with tax). 046-0591-4.
The App was easy to install and program as well.
Very happy and would recommend.

Bought the Chamberlain 1 1/4 hp belt driven garage door opener to replace my old 1/2 hp Lynx chain driven unit. I must say that this new garage door opener is much quieter and smoother running than the old device. The new unit opens and closes the garage door at a slower rate than the original chain driven garage door opener.

A: We purchased Chamberlain model B970c and the wifi is built in. Page 32 of the manual gives you full instructions on how to connect your device to the wifi. We have a heavy wooden dbl door and the strength and quiet sound of the motor is excellent.

A: Yes it will with no problem . I have a 14 by 10 foot high door and it opens just fine.we get -45c here in winter and the garage is not heated and it opens just like summer time

Q: if my garage do not have a door access to the house and outside, if the opener broke down, is it possible to open the garage door outside?

A: If there is a concern that the opener would break down and the owner does not have access, they can install this accessory on the door that attaches to the release latch on the trolly and this releases the trolly from the locked position to allow for the door to raise. A: With the purchase of the unit you are looking at 0460267P it comes with the belt and also comes with the rail. This way you will replace not only the rail you have in place today but also the chain with the belt that is included. Appreciate your interest in our product, as the unit you are looking at comes with additional great features such as battery backup, wifi, myQ control, quitter operation etc..

A: Any of our available garage door openers will work on a single garage door. The amount of horse power depends on how often you are using your garage door, has nothing to do with the size of door. If you are using your door 4-6 times or more a day then we suggest more horse power so you receive more longevity out of your operator. Which makes the unit you are inquiring about a great option. You also then get additional features like; battery back up so your door will always open even if a power outage, LCD wall control, for garage temperature, time setting, and all setup right from the control, wireless keypad, remotes, lifetime warranty, wifi by myQ to open and close your door from anywhere along with notifications and partnerships.. etc.. A: L'ouvre-porte de garage est livré complet avec un rail à clipser et la courroie dans la boîte. Il est également livré avec des supports de suspension à fixer au plafond ou aux chevrons. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin se trouve dans la boîte. Ce produit est également équipé d'une puce wi-fi intégrée, ce qui vous évite d'avoir besoin de quoi que ce soit d'autre.
