Easy to use reliable generator with clear instructions

Used this generator while off grid camping. It provided enough power to operate our fridge and air conditioning in our 29 ft travel trailer in temperatures above 30c. We are an older couple and could move the generator around without too much difficulty, even when full of gas.

Poor warranty.

Only warranty you get is for parts. They'll send you the parts but your stuck finding someone to fix it. Very bad. I called the Burlington office was told 24 -72 hrs to get a return call about generator not starting Now it's been a week. Don't waste your money on champion Buy Honda instead.

This is a really noisy generator, even if the website says it's not. We bought because we bought will be quiet as on the website but so disappointed.

350/4550 Certified portable generator

needed a generator to replace MH generator? installed onto hitch mounted carrying rack. MH requires a 20 amp min working hookup. The 3550 running amps produces sufficient power to run fridge/freezer, lights, keep aux and main chassis batteries charged. the set-up was simple, 1st pull to start. ran the 1st 24 hour of use on 20l fuel. In my books, that's efficient for a gennny.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: When removing the carb bowl drain bolt (or screw as it is often called), it is best to use a 10mm wrench rather than a phillips screwdriver. Same goes for the bowl's retaining bolt.

A: I started mine the other day with two pulls at -24C using 5W-30 synthetic. I had to run it at half choke a bit longer than under warmer conditions to keep it running. Normally one can move to unchoked in about 5s. I think it was about 15s before it would run smoothly unchoked.

A: J'ai connecte 1 frigidaire + 1 congelateur + televiseur+ plusieurs lumieres et prises de courant au sous sol ainsi que les lumieres et prises de courrants de mon garage ...le moteur n'a meme pas changer de son..donc fonctionne tres bien !

A: Floating Neutral. Stated as such right on the dashplate. I was compelled to answer as the previous answer by wayne is wrong. Floating is perfect for house panel hook-up through either of the two 30 amp receptacles.

A: Only our inverter generator line up features auto-idle. These non-inverter generators will run at a constant RPM to produce the necessary 60 cycles a second.

A: It was a misprint in the original listing. They have since changed it, and I can confirm that it is manual recoil start only.
