Q: Can this be used outside....I have an outlet under the eavestrough to plug in christmas lights, however I need to convert the 2 plug outlet to a 3 way outlet. Thank you

Q: Is there a reset feature, or do you just throw out the adapter if you have a power surge???

A: There is no reset button on this product. If it receives a power surge and the surge protection is no longer functioning, it should be disposed of. Most products of this type are designed this way. Power bars with surge protection usually offer some type of reset feature.
