I was super excited to receive the CANVAS Immel 1-Light Semi-Flush Mount Ceiling Light, in Black, as a free product to review. This light fixture is super modern and sleek, and works perfectly in our second bedroom, turned closet! The exterior of the canopy is a matte black with a brushed gold interior. Everything with this light fixture is so well thought out, with the matching gold ceiling plate and nuts. I was a little concerned that the single bulb may be too dim, but with the open canopy, there's been no issues. If you're replacing a current light fixture, you'll need to switch out your probable rectangular plate with the round one provided, or else things won't line up as necessary. Super pleased with our new lighting!

So, its so funny how things happen in life!!! I needed a new ceiling light in our recreation room in the basement and my room is black, gold, leather, and every colour on the carpet. Hubby helped me install this Canvas Immel Flushmount Light on the ceiling. The only thing left to do is for him to putty around the light and then I can touch up the paint. The last light was very old and shouldnt even have been hung because now we have to fix the drywall. However, this semi matte black light is like it was meant to be! Its got gold accents and it gives off enough light so its not too bright or headache bright. The ambiance it gives is perfect for a night in watching scary movies snuggled on the couch together! It was very easy to install, with hubbys help but I couldve done it myself! Really happy with this simple design in a modern way.
