Conception très mal penser. Indique qu'on peut le ranger debout, mais ne contient pas de barrure pour l'empêcher d'ouvrir en position debout. De plus, pas de résistance pour empêcher que le couvercle referme sur les doigts. Le couvercle c'est rabattu sur ma jointure de doigt lors du nettoyage. Les plaquettes ne s'enkève pas pour pouvoir nettoyer.

Do not waste your money

I bought it a couple of months ago. So bad in waffle making. Waffles always stuck to the surface.
I had one from not popular brand at all and it worked over 3 years without any issues.
I don’t recommend this model to anyone It’s not no stick.
Customer service told its okay. It can happen during the usage. But it started to have issues since couple of months of usage.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Non-stick peels badly after only a couple years

Waffle iron is underpowered, but cooks waffles adequately in 10-13 minutes. I own three irons to feed the crew more quickly. Tall dividers mean the waffle breaks into 4 quarters and won't easily stay whole. Batter leaks out the sides and makes a bit of a mess on the counter. You have to flip the iron over right after loading, to allow the top side to fill in and brown evenly, but happily it sits flat on either side, so you can do this fairly easily.
The bad news is that the non-stick coating is peeling off after only a couple years, rendering it unsafe to use and fit only for the landfill. My mother's waffle iron lasted 1954- 2014. This one lasted 2 years and is garbage now.
I won't buy another.

A: The ready light will go out when the waffle is done. You may cook longer to achieve a crispier waffle. Keep the lid closed during the cooking of waffles to preserve heat.

Q: Is the lid of the waffle iron supposed to say up? The lid is quite heavy (with no suspension to regulate its weight) and from my observations, it doesn't let the waffle batter rise so it would cook light and fluffy. I even put extra batter in once(220mL) with no difference.

A: Yes on the model WMB500 the lid is to be closed during use.
