    they are P100's used during demo in buildings with asbestos lead etc and the smell barrier means you can find a rotting corpse and you wouldnt even smell the decomp. Good for everything you could possibly need a respirator for.

    Q: Is this mask and provided filter appropriate for filtering out ammonia gases from window cleaning products?

    A: I am pretty sure after reading 3M description. It is good for any vapor or chemichal product.I used mine for painting the full floor of a basement with a clear protector with powerful vapor. I had the nose in it for many hours, but with this mask i did not smell a bit of it and no secondary effects after. Its a superior protection for some dollars.
