The Vancouver Canucks are a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a part of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. They celebrated their 50th season in the league in 2020, joining as an expansion team in 1970. The team has played in three Stanley Cup Finals, including against the Rangers in ’94, the Islanders in ’82, and the Bruins in 2011. The team colours are green, blue, and white, and their current logo features the letter C with an orca whale breaking out of ice to represent both their West Coast heritage and reference the team’s owner at the time – Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment.
