This vacuum storage extends the life of your food up to five times longer than ordinary storage methods. You can even vacuum seal open wine bottles to keep the flavour for longer, even after opening. Second one but I love it

I broke the first one because soup got sucked into the vacuum despite my careful efforts. *Avoid this mistake - freeze the soup or liquid before you seal. Then do it when it's frozen. You still have to be careful (soup remnants melt really quickly) but it works better. This is amazing!!!

Liquid in Pump - Do Not recommend

Using the attachment for liquids does not prevent the pump from pulling the liquid in, as it suggests. Trying to vacuum seal meat in marinade in the bags destroyed my pump and now im stuck with a bunch of useless containers that dont seal without a pump. I was really looking forward to vacuum sealing marinades with this.

Amazing Seal

I have been very impressed with the way the Vacuum pump seals food. I first tried it on Strawberries and it was amazing. When I opened the container the fresh smell of the strawberries was overwhelming.

Zwilling: wasteful not selling replacement parts

Somehow we misplaced the silicone gasket and despite claim of being a sustainable company Zwilling doesn’t sell replacement parts, for I g us to buy new unit and throw out otherwise perfect unit.
