Reliable Rice Cooker

excellent unit. Can just fill the amount I want, hit start and not worry about burning the rice like when I use a pot on the stove, especially if I forget the time. Also very easy to clean.

Extremely high quality. I love the retractable power cord. Has a lot of settings for different types of rice, including a fast setting for white rice, and one that takes 60 minutes but makes the most delicious rice ever.

Super easy to use, makes perfect rice every time. I checked out many reviews and couldn't find any negatives in any so splurged using my Canadian Tire Money to get the top of the line rice maker.
It's a simple machine and works. Easy to clean (no dishwasher parts!) and small enough to stick in a corner or cupboard. Rasy to use. I have shown my 10 year old how to use it and he can donit now on his own without any problems.
We all enjoy the rice.

My first rice cooker. I'm pretty happy with it. I read reviews to try and pick a good one for myself. I have to say it was Uncle Roger who said a baby Elephant was the best. I had to trust Uncle Roger. I know they make better ones but I can't justify more than $200 for my first Zojurushi.

Q: 3 cups means: can one put 3 cups of uncooked rice into the vessel - resulting in at least 6 cups of cooked rice, or is the maximum result 3 cups of cooked rice?

A: I inspect this up close and I think they mean 3 cups cooked rice , there is no way it could be 3 uncooked. the pot is so tiny. it is ok for one person.

A: it is safe but I personaly wouldn't put them in dishwasher, it can scratch the liner inside the pots also heat can damage the plastic parts.
