A must have for the Pinnacle 4 tent.

A must have prior to pitching the Pinnacle 4. It's an added layer of protection for the tent floor, an an additional moisture barrier, plus it's slightly smaller than the tent floor, so it won't catch rain and run under the tent. I discovered the hard way that any tarp larger than the floor tends to catch the rain, which then can run under the tent floor.

If you have the Woods Pinnacle tent, you need this footprint...

I was able to somewhat test this out this past Labour Day weekend for a solo car camping trip to Pog Lake in Algonquin Park. My Pinnacle 4 was set up from Friday at around 4pm and I took it down just after 12 noon on Labour Day Monday. Since I am no stranger to camping and know that protecting you tent floor is one of the most important aspects of setting up your tent, I wanted something other than the run-of-the-mill square tarp on the ground. Since this was the exact same footprint at the tent, it was a no-brainer. I actually went one step further and purchased a second one to use for the inside of the tent (I will refer to them as "interior footprint" and exterior footpring") to ease clean up when taking the tent down and further protect the tent floor, and the areas of the interior footprint where the vestibules would be, I just neatly folded up the excess at each end.
It was an absolutely beautiful weekend with warm temps during the day and very cool temps at night for sleeping and no rain whatsoever. I will update later when I have a chance to see how it performs in crummy weather, but I do know that on Monday when the saddest time of the weekend came and I had to take the tent down to pack it away, the underside of the exterior footprint was very wet from ground moisture and had wet dirt and pine needles stuck all over it, but nothing made its way through to the topside of the footprint and the underside of the tent was dry as well. To dry it off, I just flipped it over and laid it in a sunny spot and it was dry in no time which facilitated easy clean up to pack it away.
For the price and the fact that it's designed to fit the tent shape perfectly, you'd be crazy not to buy one if you have a Pinnacle tent.
