Taking its name from the Chilkoot Pass, where stampeders hauled vast amounts of supplies to the Klondike Gold Rush with Woods canvas packs, the Chilkoot 55 is an ideal pack for overnight and multi-day adventures. It features an aluminum stay and sturdy back panel with padding for load-carrying comfort and stability. Plenty of mesh stretch pockets and zippered hip belt pockets make it easy to stash away your trail mix, headlamp, and rain shell when on the move. A hydration bladder compatible sleeve and hose port ensures you'll never have to reach for a bottle again. Only one thing has remained the same from our old canvas packs, the spirit of adventure, so get out there.

pretty good size bag

this has many ways to get in the bag, through the top, through the bottom and through the right side zipper of the back while having in on. it has a pocket where you can get your own bladder bag, theres pockets in front on the left side and the right side, you can store pocket first aid, healing ointment, small bug repellant, small mirror, compass. on top of the backpack pocket you can store bigger items then on the front pockets.

I was really excited about this pack only to come home and find out that it would not fit my torso size (14in). Wish they'd put a sizing chart to save me the trouble.

If you're looking for a beginner pack this is the way to go. For its affordable price you'll feel like you’re wearing a $300 pack and not one thats a little over $100. I wish it had some bungee on the outside to attach a few more things but aside from that i love this bag.
