Well-Designed and Built, Lightweight

This is a great little tent. The materials and design are excellent: fly goes to the ground and seams are well sealed (minimizing rain and wind); lightweight materials for hiking with the tent; easy exit with dual doors and vestibules; and all fabrics, fasteners and ties are reinforced and of high quality. There are elaborate vents that can be opened and closed at both entrances. The instructions are sewn into the tent bag. Downside is the instructions are sadly lacking in detail and accuracy. I love this tent and expect to have many years of experiences with it.

Rain, rips, cracks

Does not do well in anything more than a light drizzle. The fly anchors on either side are not adjustable and can’t be placed far enough off the tent wall to prevent it from sticking to the inner tent wall, causing condensation and dripping. See photo. After setting it up ONCE for a test run, the fly ripped where the grommet holds the pole. Was unable to repair on my own or replace/return/warranty due to the ridiculous 7-day unopened unused return policy. See photo. Pegs are useless on gravel campsites. Broke at least 6 trying to get them in the ground within the first 3 days of my trip. See photo. Overall very dissatisfied with this tent. Absolutely not worth the money and not worth fixing as it just doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, unless you have perfect weather and a perfectly flat, gravel free area to set up on. Only reason for 2 stars is that it keeps you warm, and I like having doors on opposite sides for 2 people to get in and out. I’m only about 170cm tall and my feet touch the wall when laying down, if my feet don’t touch, my head does. Footprint sold separately and you would for sure need it or a tarp as the tent floor is as thin as the walls, one sharp rock or stick in the bottom and you’re toast.

It did what I was asking for. It was an extremely windy and cold night, but it held everything together.
Please add two people to your calculation if you car camp and need extra gear compared to ordinary folks—like me with a CPAP, power stations, and such.
The 3-person tent was just enough for my needs but could still fit a second person.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does this tent need to be treated with a sealant spray before use for waterproofing?

A: The Tent is already equipped with 2000mm Polyurethane coating for waterproofing. Depending on the number of future uses and weather exposure, we would recommend sealing the spray every season (or two depending on frequency).

Q: Would this tent be good for late fall/early winter? I know this question is somewhat subjective, and using the right sleeping bag or wool blanket would help, but I'm just wondering what other people think about this.

A: This tent is considered a 3 season tent. As mentioned, a lot of it is subjective, as it will depend on the location and weather typically experienced in that location during that time of year. The tent should be fine provided a proper sleeping bag for the temperature in the location, along with a camping mat/cot.
