Worked fine on a camping trip

We went for 2 night trip and it was enough to boil water a few times for tea or coffee. By the weight of the tank I think there is still enough gas left for another 2 trips like this.

A: It would depend on the stove BTU output and the setting, but a pound of isobutane has about 20k BTU so you may get 2h burn time from a single tank from a typical small stove. A pound lasts my spouse and I about a week of back country camping, but we also preheat evening water on the fire and don't fry food or anything like that, so mileage may vary.

A: Perhaps space is limited? Perhaps there is a specific container they want this to fit inside? Why not just answer the question? The canister is 15.4cm tall, 10.9cm in diameter.

A: I have used it with my camping burner outdoors and I could not detect a mercaptan odour. Possible I could not detect the smell in this setting, but my sniffer is normally pretty good

Q: Is this compatible with the GSI Outdoors Glacier Camp Stove? The new packaging doesn't says butane/propane mix, it just says isobutane and doesn't state that it is a mix.

A: The Woods 076-2858 model is made to be compatible with camping stove model with screw type inlets. For safety precautions please contact the stove manufacturing brand (in this case GSI Outdoors) for compatibility.

A: Les chauffages Buddy ne sont pas compatibles avec l'isobutane (mélange propane / butane). Ils ne peuvent être utilisés qu'avec du propane.
