J'ai acheter se produit il y a 5 ans et c'est le temps que sa ma pris pour que le compresseur rende l’âme . Avec une demande de 30% d'humidité 24/24h , 7/7j . Le ventilateur fonctionnant sens arrête (sur 2 vitesse) et le compresseur quand il y a une demande . Je l'ai utiliser pour mon sous-sol 1100 p2 air ouverte + le rez-de-chaussée (J'ai une ventilation central) . J'ai été satisfais durant 5 ans mais j'aurais préféré plus longtemps.
P.S. au bout de 4 ans il a commencer a faire un de ses vacarme , je l'ai ouvert pour voir se qui vibrais comme sa et j'ai simplement mit un bout de bois entre les 2 pièces qui cognais ensemble .

Beware, not a good fan for your basement. The fan does not shut off when the compressor is not functioning. In other words, if you have the dehumidifier powered on, the fan will run continuously, even if it is not dehumidifying. This is a waste of electricity.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Appareille acheté il y a deux ans.
Plusieurs fissures sur le devant le réservoir à l'horizontal de la taille d'un cheveux sont apparues et laisse fuir des gouttelettes d'eau sur le plancher.
l'appareille n'est pas placé près d'aucune source de chaleur.

Q: What are the details of the 5 yr warranty? Usually the warranty is parts and labour 1 yr . Then after that you have to pay all labour costs which makes the warranty actually only one year since the labour costs are more than a new one on sale.

A: Yes the warranty is parts and labour 1 yr and after that certain things are covered by the 5 year warranty. eg. the compressor unit What is really irritating is that on the box in big bold print it says 5 year warranty. Then inside in the manual it goes on to say that it is for 1 year with SOME exceptions!

Q: I set the Humidity Level at 65, the display shows 61, but the unit continues to run. How do I know if I've set it up correctly? Fan Speed is on Low Desired Humidity is on Normal Humidity is set at 65%

A: Is the compressor still running or just the fan? On some settings the fan will run continuously but the compressor will cycle. I believe they mention this in the manual, but cannot remember.
