This product worked very well on a vertical cement wall that, because it doesn't get any sun, turns green throughout the summer. It did take a few days to work once sprayed on, which was fine and expected. Next I'll try it on the deck in those spots that don't get any sun either.

Q: I have patio stones which are discolored with some algae and weathering. Should I power wash the patio stones first before trying this product? Area is about 10 metres × 5 metres. Thank you.

A: There is no need to power wash! We recommend applying to a dry surface, and over time with the wind and rainfall it will clear everything up. Wet & Forget works overtime with the rain and wind to clean up the green and black mold stains. Green stains typically clean up after several weeks with rainfall. Black stains will clean up after several months with rain.

A: Yes it does. A friend had an awning that he said was almost black. It took several weeks but he swears his awning is “almost like new” after thoroughly soaking it with Wet and Forget.
