I bought this to replace a monitor that quit working. It was same model so that installation was easier. I could use the same bracket on the wall.

Battery Life Horrible and Cord Doesn't Last

I've had two V-Tech baby monitors, both have had the same issues. After about a year the battery stops lasting and the cord wears and stops working.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sound sensitive enough

Like other reviews I find the camera too zoomed in, and it is disappointing that you cannot move the camera from the monitor like I had with previous monitors. But my biggest issue right now is that the camera is not detecting sound as sensitively as required. My child is in a full meltdown before it flashes on the monitor instead of catching him when he first starts stirring. I don’t know what to do with it now as it is within the exchange warranty timeframe but I don’t think this model is right for me.

Way Too Zoomed In

I had to return this because it was so zoomed in. I had to put the monitor on the compete opposite side of the room to be able to see my kid in their bed but then because of restricted range of manually angling the camera I still couldn't see the fully. Display quality is okay, but I would not call it HD.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can you split screen between both cameras?

A: Yes you can. You can flip back and forward between camera for a bigger angle or have it as a slit screen.
